This document is for customers and partners and is designed to provide information regarding the retirement of Vlocity University. Vlocity University is a legacy of Vlocity’s independent business operations, and it is scheduled to be decommissioned on December 28, 2022

With Vlocity University’s retirement, we’ll make it easier for customers and partners to skill up on Industries products in standard Salesforce learning systems.
- What does this mean if you are a customer? You’ll use the customer learning journeys listed below to find the right content at the right time for your role on Trailhead. We’ll keep the customer learning journeys , so you will always know where to find the right learning resources when you need, even as they move from one platform to another. 👉TIP: Bookmark your industry cloud’s learning journey, so you always have it handy!
- What does this mean if you are a partner? Partners and their teams need to gain expertise quickly. Salesforce partners have access to Partner Learning Camp in the Partner Community, so they can specialize in our Industry Clouds and use partner enablement resources across the Customer 360 to drive implementation success. After we retire Vlocity University, partners will access the same great Vlocity/Industries learning resources that they know and love, but they’ll do it now in Partner Learning Camp! Vlocity University will be deactivated on December 28, 2022, and users will no longer be able to access it. However, the same great learning content that you’ve experienced on Vlocity University will now be available to customers on Trailhead and to partners on Partner Learning Camp. The link to Vlocity University on Vlocity Success Community will be replaced with a link to a page of information that will have links to PLC, our industry learning journeys, and this FAQ.
Customers should bookmark the to access learning content for their industry cloud. Rather than browsing courses via Vlocity University’s content library, customers will now use learning journeys to find and navigate content as it is moved to Trailhead.
We’ve already migrated Vlocity’s learning content to Partner Learning Camp, and partners can use Partner Learning Camp’s Technical Learning Journeys to access it. It’s the same great content that customers can access via Trailhead, but it’s served up alongside partner-specific resources to help partner teams quickly gain expertise for successful implementation projects.

If you’d like a copy of your learner transcript and any course completion certificates that you’ve earned on Vlocity University, follow the steps below to download them before December 28, 2022. All learner transcripts and course completion certificates will not be available after December 28, 2022.
- Log into Vlocity Success Community, and click the Vlocity University / Go Learn tile.
- At the top of the Vlocity University home page, click ACHIEVEMENTS. When you complete a course or a learning path on Vlocity University, it registers as an achievement in your profile.
- On the Achievements page, you can review a searchable list of all of the courses and learning paths that you’ve completed on Vlocity University.
- Some courses and learning paths award certificates upon completion. If one is available, you’ll see a link to “Download certificate” next to the name of the learning resource. Click the link to download a PDF of your certificate.
- To get your Vlocity University transcript, you export a report of all of your achievements. To do this, click “Create a report”, enter a title, and select CSV (comma-separated values) or PDF format. You can also specify a date range, if needed.
- Click “Run”, and your VU transcript report will be generated. In a few minutes, it will appear under the Created Reports heading in the dialog.
No. Any direct links and bookmarks to courses on Vlocity University will not work after the system is retired on December 28, 2022. However, to help our learners through this transition, the Go Learn >> tile to Vlocity University on Vlocity Success Community will be redirected to a page of information that will have links to our customer learning journeys, Partner Learning Camp, and this FAQ.
We’re working hard on this! In the first year after Vlocity’s acquisition, we migrated all of our OmniStudio courses to Trailhead, and in the second year, we added more modules on advanced OmniStudio topics and new industry cloud modules. The rest of the content we support is in varying stages of migration to Trailhead, but rest assured, you will still have access to it even after Vlocity University is deactivated. Customers can navigate our offerings using our role-based customer learning journeys, which are kept as content moves across platforms. Partners will find the same content in their partner-specific learning journeys.
The Vlocity Success Community will continue to be available even after Vlocity University is retired. Customers and partners can still access the Process Library and request Industry application suite orgs there. We’ll post a notice on the Success Community when it’s time for these last remaining Vlocity components to become ONE Salesforce!
The documentation previously located at Vlocity Help Center was moved to Salesforce Help and Training on October 17, 2022. Going forward, all documentation updates will be on Salesforce Help and Training. Vlocity Help Center was retired on October 31, 2022. Need links to the new locations on Salesforce Help & Training? Due to changes within the program, and in alignment with Vlocity University retirement, the following certifications retired on January 18, 2023:
- Energy & Utilities Developer I
- Health Quoting Developer I
- Insurance Quoting Developer I
- Order Management Developer I
You are welcome to enjoy your certification and continue to show it on your resume. Please note there is no formal process to verify your certification after retirement.
